Nature has provided you with a mechanism to monitor your health, thereby preventing you from getting any disease. Sickness is only a means by which Nature shows you the right way back to health. To ignore it is a crime against your body.
In life, there are two things that can really kill you: an accident or a disease. Disease prevention prolongs life.
Good health is more than just an absence of disease, and wellness has to be wholesome. Essentially, you have to feel healthy physically, mentally, and spiritually. Only when you have wholesome wellness through disease prevention can you have longevity.
The major cause of disease
Disease is caused by chronic stress in your life, which can come in many different forms:
Radiation stress
Radiation from the environment can damage any living tissue in your body. Radiation stress is one of the causes of cancer, which is essentially the uncontrolled growth of cells.
Chemical Stress
Chemicals in the environment and in your food often create undue stress in your body system.
Chemicals in the environment may come from the air you breathe, the water you drink, or anything you may have exposed yourself to, such as your daily shampoo and toothpaste. Nobody has complete immunity from chemical stress.
Chemicals are also present in abundance in your daily food -- pesticides and other toxic chemicals. The risks you encounter depend on a number of factors, including the toxicity of pesticides, the degree and form of exposure, as well as your age and genetic susceptibility. As a result, what may be less harmful to others may be more harmful to you.
Disease prevention is to go organic to eliminate some of the chemicals and toxins in foods. The Ultimate Organic Lifestyle gives you all the information you need to go organic for an anti-aging lifestyle.
In addition to the “natural” contamination, food manufacturers through the addition of additives, food colorings, taste enhancers, emulsifiers, and preservatives may have artificially added chemical stress to the body.
Disease prevention is to stop buying food items in the supermarket that come in a box, a carton, or a can.
Disease prevention is eating whole and unprocessed food.
Emotional stress
Emotional stress, according to researchers at John Hopkins University, can result in severe heart muscle weakness that may mimic a classic heart attack through the release of certain chemicals in the body.
Not only is emotional stress the triggering factor but also the underlying cause of many diseases.

Nutritional stress
Both the quality and quantity of food can have a dramatic impact on disease prevention.
Nutritional deficiency, a direct result of the body not having the nutrients it needs to function properly, is a major contributing factor to nutritional stress in an individual. Nutritional deficiency has to do with the quality of food, which is easily compromised by convenience and craving for taste in contemporary food, loaded with fat, sodium, and sugar, and chemicals from preservatives to artificial colorings and flavorings. Indeed, one of the ironies of modern age is that the more you eat, the more you may become deprived of nutrients. Instead of the nutrients you think you should be getting from your food, you may be getting mostly toxins, which not only further deplete your body of nutrients but also inhibit your body from rightfully absorbing them.
In addition, the excess quantity of food, as a result of overeating, aggravates nutritional stress on the body.
Disease prevention is to stop ingesting toxins that cause nutritional stress. Toxins are biochemical substances and molecules that may poison ther blood, spreading in the bloodstream through the circulatory system to the rest of the body. They break down the body cells, resulting in disturbed cellular functions of organ systems, thus causing disease.
To rid your body of toxins, you need to detoxify your body regularly for an anti-aging lifestyle.

Disease progression
When the body is no longer in harmony with Nature due to continual accumulation of toxins within the body, disease begins to strike, and it is often associated with physical pain and mental anguish -- the beginning of disease progression.
Fatigue
Chronic stress, both physical and mental, begins to attack the body. due to the accumulation of body toxins.
Overcoming Chronic Fatigue Syndrome: Overcome chronic fatigue using natural medicine.
Aches and pains
Due to weakening of the nervous system, the body may begin to experience frequent headaches, backaches, and muscle pains, among others. These are disease symptoms, or rather warning signs that there is something wrong with the body. Too readily reaching out for over-the-counter pharmaceutical drugs only makes matters worse -- like jumping from the frying pan into the fire. Pharmaceutical drugs merely suppress the symptoms without treating the causes.
Disease prevention is addressing the causes rather than just removing the symptoms. Pain may be due to internal life energy blockage or an inflammatory diet. For more information on how good posture can eliminate muscle aches and pains, go to my web page: Good Posture. Also, acupuncture is a time-honored Oriental way of pain control without the use of medications.
Sickness of the blood
Excess acidity, high level of cholesterol, or saturation of fat in the bloodstream impoverish the quality of blood, resulting in blood-related diseases, such as hemophilia, jaundice, leukemia and skin diseases, among others.
Eating a balanced acid and alkaline diet is disease prevention
Emotional disorders
Negative emotions, such as anger, anxiety, fear, and worry, begin to take control of the body.

Emotional disorder in the form of mental depression may not necessarily require the treatment of antidepressants.

Organ diseases
The accumulated toxins in your body may cause the body organs to degenerate over time, resulting in heart disease, diabetes, tuberculosis, and other common organ diseases. Such degeneration may be gradual and slow, or may even be sudden and swift, depending on the individual's genetic and physiological makeup.
Nerve diseases
When toxins begin to attack the brain cells, various types of brain disease may result, such as dementia, multiple sclerosis, paralysis and Parkinson’s disease, among others. For more information on dementia, visit my blog: Dementia Resources.
Degeneration accelerates disease progression. The body’s inferior blueprint for cell regeneration will only lead to further disease progression. Disease prevention holds the key to optimizing physical and mental health.
